I thankfully finally one by one found them. Through the donation of time and talent from studio time,personal time and musical talents we all came together to breathe life into a song of hope. After a most enjoyable day filming the video which I did on my 2 week holiday from the day job, I was coming home in the late wee hours from Victoria, B.C. enduring several bus transfers etc until around 2am cutting through the park to my long time residence in North Vancouver with tears streaming down my face not understanding the deep pain and exhaustion I was experiencing wishing I could just click and say “there’s no place like home” and just be in bed. It was approximately 12 to 14 days later,when I could finally crawl out of bed that I got to the Doctor and the long journey of Diagnosis began. With about 2 years of testing and various drugs etc and other diagnosis’s I was finally diagnosed with chronic fatigue Syndrome/ Fibromyalgia. It was hard to wrap my head and heart around this and what this would mean for me moving forward but I knew somehow I had to do just that. I no longer could afford the cost of living in my own home city Vancouver, and headed out to the Kootenay Mountains where I now fight new battles of survival and trying to find a Dr. that at least has some empathy for this illness at the very least and will join me on the journey to better health again one day, supporting new thinking and treatments that won’t make me sicker. Time just seems to liquify and run like a river and before I knew it, I had already been here almost 4 years and the music in me has been patiently waiting,and waiting and waiting....

This is why I feel that you all deserve some kind of explanation. I never foresaw this happening and taking so long. My acceptance of this illness has been a very stubborn one. Learning to pace myself is still a constant battle and until I find a healthy place to live so I can thrive and feel alive again I am afraid this journey runs at a snails pace. The worst battle of this disease is the inflammation and exhaustion aspect with the pain woven in deeply threaded amongst every part of my being. So yes, this does effect my vocal chords which are always swollen from the inflammation in some shape or form. That struggle depends on me overcoming the life struggle of a good living environment to build my foundation of healing upon. Thank you for being here and having a listen now and then and well just for being here and not giving up on me. It truly does mean the world to me. As I said from the start of this update.....
