Charlotte Aschim was working in grocery stores when she was a student. She was astounded to see the tremendous amounts of food being wasted at the end of every day. So she started a "manual logbook" of expiration dates to help give the store a better overview, and started to think about how technology could benefit the business. Years later, she develops an app to digitize food inventory management and help fight food waste while saving consumers' time and money!
