Our first single, What’Sup, is a collaboration with vocalist/songwriter/producer Omar Khan (Kreesha Turner, My Name Is Kay, The Hastings Set). The song revisits 1960's Pop in a whole new way by blending 60’s sounds with stanky synths and hints of r&b. Barron S has opened for Danny Masterson AKA DJ Mom Jeans (LA) and DJ Knowledge (Las Vegas). She has also had the pleasure of rocking stages at CMW & Vancouver Fashion Week & plans on touring extensively with this new release. With this MIXTAPE release we are LAUNCHING AN ADVENTURE!! On this adventure Barron S is volunteering her life as a human experiment. Is the indie community a real & vibrant thing? Is it really possible now to make a living in music without a label? Or are record labels still running the show, but just in a more inconspicuous way? What is possible for an unsigned artist in 2014? What is possible when you create something from nothing purely through the power of imagination? How far can music reach when it is fueled solely by fans?
