Hello AKR! Please see our Late May Arrivals who found Forever Homes on the West Coast! 🐾
As we head into beautiful summer, the weather in BC and across the West Coast has been absolutely perfect for welcoming the newest members of our AKR family! May has been an incredibly busy and heartwarming month.
Here is a look back at our late May newcomers and their journeys:

✈️ Flight Log: May 16 – May 29
May 16 (Vancouver): Yeoreum, now Oakley, and Chulsoo touched down! They’ve spent the last two weeks settling in and building up their confidence. Chulsoo is already showing off his impressive athletic skills to his new family! And Oakley is nothing but a smart and very impressive pup!
May 20 (Seattle): Mari arrived and immediately bonded with her new furry sibling. They are already the absolute best of friends!
May 20 (Vancouver): Taro and Lilia flew into foster care with the wonderful Kim Jaeyeol and Jessica MacAdams. We have amazing news! Both, Taro and Lilia were officially adopted and now making a new life and memotries with their forever families!
May 22 (San Francisco): Bibi arrived just in time to soak up the late spring warmth. She is doing fantastic and settling in nicely with her new furry sibling.
May 27 (Vancouver Island ➔ Castlegard): Trisha ( another ARK pup) joined her new forever family and now have a new name, Pixie!
May 29 (Seattle ➔ Alaska & Portland): Our final May arrivals, Hanni and Sarang, made the journey to Seattle before heading to their final destinations. Hanni is settling into Portland, and Sarang is loving life in Alaska, surrounded by a big group of supporters including two new furry siblings!

Congratulations to all of our new arrivals and their adoptive families! We also want to send our deepest gratitude to our incredible foster families who open their hearts and homes to make these transitions possible.
