Meet Jaycie — Interior Designer at Kerr Design Build
For Jaycie, great design starts with people.

Her design style is all about blending different influences, textures, and materials to create spaces that feel layered, welcoming, and uniquely personal.

Before becoming a designer, Jaycie worked as an actor, where she discovered how colour, space, furniture, and textiles can help tell a story. Today, she brings that same creative perspective into every project, designing homes that reflect each client’s personality and lifestyle.

She’s especially inspired by biophilic design, incorporating natural materials and organic elements that bring warmth, comfort, and a stronger connection to nature.

What she loves most about Kerr Design Build? The collaboration. Working alongside talented designers, builders, and project managers to create thoughtful, beautifully crafted homes for our clients.

The homeowners loved their Burnaby neighbourhood and couldn’t imagine leaving the community they had built their lives in. But as their family grew, they needed more space, better functionality, and a home designed for modern living.
Rather than moving away, they chose to reimagine the property they already loved.

Kerr Design Build transformed the original bungalow into a bright, contemporary custom home featuring open-concept living, expansive windows, a dramatic floating staircase, and seamless indoor-outdoor spaces designed for everyday family life and entertaining.
