Keynote speaker and on the panel!! 🙌
At the beginning of the month, we had the pleasure of attending the Advancing Adaptive Fashion in Canada: A Shared Conversation event put on by The KITE Research Institute Creates, FIBRE, Toronto Metropolitan University, and the Adaptive Fashion Alliance (AFAC), where our Chief Creative Officer, Izzy Camilleri, was the keynote speaker. Izzy also spoke on the panel discussion alongside our/Silverts Adaptive Clothing & Footwear's VP of Product & Partnerships, Andrea Wurster, and frequent model and collaborator, Anthony Lue. It was an amazing afternoon of building dialogue and community, and educating about adaptive fashion. We were so inspired by the atmosphere of this room: the many people and organizations who joined forces to make this event happen, and everybody who attended, especially all the young, emerging creatives and business leaders in the fashion and disability communities! It takes a village — when we come together to support the mission of fashion for everybody, the sky is the limit!
