The customer needed his humidifier to work. So I Installed a valve and changed the filter.Then he told me it takes 6 hours for his house to warm up. All the heat was escaping In The unfinished basement before it goes to the upper levels. I asked him where is the vent cover ?
He said it must have fallen off and gotten thrown out. Just covering the hole let the home heat up so fast he didn't have to run the heat all the time.
Don't let little problems become big problems. It's cheaper to fix the problem right away.
