It is just under one week until and the first ever honours.

My first concert promotion company was all women/identifying. This was over 20 years ago. Even at that (*young*) age I knew the value that women brought to our industry BUT saw the gaps in equality and opportunity.

My entire career I have pushed for women to be seen as equals in the music industry and get the jobs, pay and recognition they deserve. I am humbled and honoured to be nominated and on this long list. I hope these honours grow with more recognition and support over time. Hoping to see some of you next week at the honours ceremony at the female championed venue .

In 2017 I had decided to go freelance and at the same time Save Our Scruff Rehome & Rescue] were looking at options for a major fundraiser. Together we designed the first ever in support of the dogs and the humans who support them.
In 2020 the 4th iteration was cancelled due to the pandemic.
Now I’m 2023 we welcome the back for its 4th version in celebration of 9 years of Save Our Scruff Rehome & Rescue]. Stay tuned for more details! Let’s . 🐕 🎉

Jives (aka me - jenn) is currently on a mental health break until the end of January. Coming out of the pandemic has been so hard on many of the live events humans and it was time for a pause and reset. I look forward to supporting all the new and old clients in 2023. I hope everyone is staying safe this holiday season and wish the very best to all. Excited about connecting in the new year and take care everyone! Xx jives

Another November in Sarnia w the and crew with a visit from .

You can’t keep this crew down, even when you wake up at 6 am to discover fog has cancelled most of the regions school buses. Big 👏🏻🫶🏻 and that’s a wrap on jives last event for 2022. 🎬🎞️📽️

Tomorrow we embark on 8! Our fifth year w the fest and a mix of returning and new staff. Executive director works so hard to bring such an impressive lineup of films, workshops and concerts to his hometown and we are here to support all the logistics that come with that*.
So many amazing films this year but maybe I will finally see on a big screen! TBD. Follow along at and for our adventures in bringing the world to Sarnia.
