Our "CaDau" to you: TOP 5 professional decluttering tips
1. Start With One Small Area
Avoid trying to tackle the entire house at once. Begin with a manageable space such as a single drawer, shelf, or bathroom cabinet. Small wins create momentum and prevent overwhelm.
2. Use the “Keep, Donate, Discard” Method
Create three clear categories when sorting items. This simple system helps you make faster decisions and ensures items that no longer serve you can benefit someone else.
3. Declutter Before You Organize
Buying bins and storage containers before decluttering often creates more clutter. First remove what you no longer need, then organize what remains.
4. Focus on High-Impact Areas First
Kitchens, entryways, and closets often create the most daily stress. Starting with spaces you use every day can quickly improve your home’s functionality.
5. Ask Yourself One Key Question
When deciding whether to keep something, ask: Do I use this, love this, or truly need this? If the answer is no, it may be time to let it go.

I was horrified seeing the way entertainment news was covering the state of the late Gene Hackman and his wife’s home.
Why this needs to be covered is beyond me but this is also a nightmare of mine.
Having people walk through your home because you are not able to be there (for whatever reason) can seem like such a violation, if your home is not in a state where things are organized.
Decluttering at any age not only helps you get rid of the things that no longer serve you but it helps with your privacy.

If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that life’s far too short to live with clutter and stress hanging over you.
And as we head into a brand new year, it’s the perfect moment to decide that 2026 is going to be different.
You don’t want to end 2026 the same way you ended 2025. Tired of the mess, frustrated by the piles, and promising yourself “next year will be better.”
Take the stress away before it builds up again.
