The main purpose of the event is so bears, cubs, daddies, chubs, and their admirers who live in the Greater Toronto Area or the many visitors to our lovely city, can go to have some fun in a spa-like setting. I've been thinking about introducing a ride-sharing option for Bears in Excess and Chubs at the Tubs.
Perhaps we could create a dedicated post or space on our page where members can indicate where they're travelling from and whether they have room in their vehicle. For example, someone driving in from Buffalo, New York, could post that they're heading to the event and see if anyone would like to share the ride and help with gas costs. The same could apply to members coming from Scarborough, Mississauga, Hamilton, Oshawa, or other nearby communities.
Not only could this help save money on gas and parking, but it would also be a great way to meet fellow bears, chubs, and admirers from your area before arriving at the event. It could help build local connections and make the trip more enjoyable for everyone.
