Yes… it’s my husband again 😅 (third time’s the charm, right?). When you’re practicing a new headshot technique, you need a willing model — and luckily, he keeps saying yes! One day I’ll have a whole gallery of just him 🤣.

The Peter Hurley triangle is a lot harder than it looks. There are so many moving parts when it comes to creating a strong headshot. It’s not just the lighting — it’s the expression coaching, the “lookability” of the image, the color grading, the tiniest adjustments in posture and angles. Everything has to come together seamlessly.

This was only my second time trying this lighting setup, and with every session I learn something new. It’s challenging, humbling, and so exciting — and I can’t wait to keep photographing more people and improving with each shoot!
