Hi, I’m Shirin, the photographer behind Shean Photography, based in Toronto and specializing in maternity, motherhood, and family portraits.

My journey began after my twin daughters were born. Like so many parents, I wanted to capture every little milestone because I knew how quickly those moments would pass. Looking back now, those photographs have become some of my most treasured memories. They remind me not only of how my girls looked, but how that season of life felt.

Before photography, I worked as a graphic designer, and that creative background continues to shape my work today. I love creating portraits with beautiful light, thoughtful composition, and timeless styling—images that feel elegant, genuine, and full of emotion.

As a mother myself, I understand how quickly life changes. Pregnancy passes, babies grow, and childhood slips by before we realize it. That’s why I believe photography is so much more than beautiful pictures. It’s about preserving the moments you’ll want to hold onto forever.

I believe photographs should never go out of style—they should become part of your family’s story.
