Everyone has the right to move through this city without being treated like a suspect. Last week, TTC Riders came to St. Felix Centre to make sure our guests know exactly how to exercise that right. 🚌

Community shows up in many ways and last week, it showed up with gloves, garbage bags, and a shared sense of care.
A big thank you to the team at for organizing a community clean-up around our Liberty Village site. Together, we spent the day refreshing the neighbourhood, connecting with one another, and taking pride in the space we all share.

When we think about homelessness, we often picture the crisis, but prevention starts much earlier. It can look like helping someone navigate a financial setback, supporting youth before family conflict escalates, or ensuring people leaving institutions don’t fall through the cracks.

These interventions may seem small, but they make a lasting difference.
This Earth Week, we spent time in Liberty Village and outside our 629 Adelaide St W shelter, connecting with our community. From sharing what we do to answering questions about our shelters, to handing out wildflower seed packets, this time with our neighbours was spent building understanding and connection. 🌱
