OCTOBER 27, 2023: "TALES OF TRICKSTERS AND VAGABONDS"

I am so thrilled to finally be able to announce the upcoming release of my new album: "Tales of Tricksters and Vagabonds". A suite, in 6 movements, "Tales" is a collection of pieces written about some of the "sketchier" characters from fiction.

Many of you have already met my two offerings from the world of fairy tales; "Rumpelstiltskin" and "Puss, in Boots".

To follow these movements 1 & 2 are:
"Rodion's Republic" (about Rodion Roskolnikov from Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment"),
"'Umble Uriah"(Urian Heep from Dickens' "David Copperfield"), "Mercutio" (Romeo's friend from Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet")
& "Sir Jack" (about Sir John Falstaff from Shakespeare's "Henry IV", "Henry V", and "The Merry Wives of Windsor")

From an outright murderer to a sharp-witted joker and everything in between, these "Tales" tell the stories of some intriguing and fascinating characters who tend toward the darker side of life.
