Funniest moment of July 13, 2019 was, I was there, shooting at Renai and Mike's house in the morning where Renai and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Renai's dad was adjusting his tie in the mirror, and I was shooting him over the shoulder with my camera.

Then I stopped rolling, and Renai says, "Hey dad, do you remember Brandon?" And her dad looks at me, and he shrugs, and politely remarks, "No," to which I thought, "thank God, there's no reason he would or should, I mean, I wouldn't if I were him..."

Anyways, then Renai says something along the lines of, "Oh we were each other's first kiss in grade 7 & 8" or something like that (true story LOL). Anyways, I'm pretty awkward, so I must've laughed or spouted out a half laugh at least, and kinda just wanted to move on, move past that, but she then proceeded to tell her father the HILARIOUS story (oh LORD 🙄), of our first kiss. Very embarrassing, very funny.

I think that's a pretty hilarious story to tell one's dad about the wedding videographer the day you're getting married. LOL. That's pretty much Mike and Renai in a nutshell. They're so fun! Their families, wedding party, and friends - everyone - is hilarious and genuine, and just - FUN! So I wanted this latest masterpiece to evoke that! They are magic! This is magic!

I jumped the gun when I had met with Anthony + Kamila. I had not asked what their wedding date was before I sat to meet with them in person. I always ask for the date. I mean, if I'm booked, no point in talking about it further, right? So I get to their house, and I can't remember when it came up - but it was pretty soon after I had arrived - that I was already booked on their intended wedding date, July 13 (Mike + Renai coming soon). It was a bummer, but we both mutually wanted to be able to have me somehow have my imprint on their big day (which was an honour). So then I said I could ask Jamie (and he grabbed Primmer as well) to shoot the video, and I would edit it. And that's the story of how this video came to be. Juan-An Losa Jut Losa B.J. Well, it's finally here, the latest MASTERPIECE: DUARTE & ASHLEY. I shot this video alongside Anzit Photography (we're a good team by the way), over a period of a few days, hence why maybe the runtime is a little longer than usual. Punta Cana was a wonderful place to shoot. I couldn't have been more honoured to bring this to life for Duarte and Ash, two genuine, salt of the earth people, and grateful to have spent a few days as part of their tight knit family.
