When my Uncle Derek "Solo" Hinds passed away last year, it rocked me. He was my dude. He wasn't just my uncle. He was like my older brother, my friend, and I could go on and on about our bond. Instead, I'll share this literal walking memorial, which was brought to life by my AMAZING friend and talented artist, . Uncle Solo gifted me these Chucks for no reason other than I said I liked them. He also gave me a red pair, but the whites hit different for this. So when he passed, I knew I had to do something with them.

Enter April. She is so dope. Her talent for design and skill with colour and composition are spectacular! She was able to take my vision and turn it into this masterpiece of love for my dawg!! Thank you April, you knocked this one out the damn park!! Love you, homie!! ❤️🥹
