It took an egg salesman to revolutionize suburban architecture. After a stay at a Frank Lloyd Wright home Jospeh Eichler was inspired to ‘democratize’ modern living by building homes rich with organic architecture and a design first mandate. I had the pleasure of driving through some Eichler communities in California this past summer and it was nice to see an example of what real estate developers can build when good design and lifestyle are a priority.
