May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
I'm going to be honest with you.
I spent years looking completely fine on the outside. Functioning. Showing up. Doing the things. But underneath all of it, I was running on stress, survival patterns, and wounds I didn't even know were wounds yet. I just thought that was life.
I know now that it doesn't have to be.
This year I set a goal to help 80 people do what I call root-level change... not coping, not managing, not white-knuckling their way through... but actually releasing what's stored in the body so they stop living in survival mode and start feeling calm, clear, and like themselves again.
That's my big ask to you today.

Most of the stories I share are about me…

It’s not just me.

Because this is what I mean when I say… it’s never just the surface problem.
When she first came to me…
on paper, things looked “fine”…
but underneath?
She was carrying a lot.
Hurt.
Sadness.
Disconnection from herself.
And like a lot of people… she didn’t even fully see how much it was running the show.
She was living in her head.
Overthinking.
Pushing through.
Numbing when it got to be too much.
For her, that looked like smoking pot… not because she wanted to… but because she didn’t know how to not feel the way she was feeling.
And this is where most people try to “fix the habit.”
But that’s not what we did.
We went deeper.
Because the habit isn’t the problem… it’s the protection.
When she started to actually slow down…
feel…
and get into her body…
everything started to shift.
Not overnight.
Not perfectly.
But real.
She started releasing stuff she had been holding onto for years…
And what happened?
She hasn’t smoked in 4 months.
Not because she’s forcing herself…
but because the urge just isn’t there the same way.
That’s a completely different game.
She’s calmer.
Way less reactive.
Actually understands her body now instead of fighting it.
And this is my favorite part…
She now takes what she’s learned and shares it with her own clients.
That’s when you know it landed.
This is what happens when you stop trying to control everything from your head…
and actually learn how to work with your body.
