Become a Judge for the DDA
We are looking for judges for the DDA 2025 awards season.
Criteria for the Professional categories:
✅ Must be a current member of the DDA.
Criteria for the Student categories:
✅ Must be a current member of the DDA, preferred ones with experience as an educator or reviewing student work.
Criteria for the Specialty Awards:
✅ Must have practical experience in marketing, website design, and product design and development; preference to DDA members.
Judging gains exposure to diverse talents, ideas, and innovations, enhancing creative and critical thinking. They assess entries, making decisions based on criteria, sharpen analytical skills, connect with professionals, and enhance their professional reputation. They also contribute to community or industry success, offering a rewarding and enriching experience.
Judges will be asked to attend an online training. This training is essential for judges to prepare for the awards event. Helping standardize evaluation criteria, enhance skills, familiarize participants with event protocols, encourage ethical judging, build confidence, and facilitate continuous improvement. It ensures consistency, fairness, unbiased evaluations, and provides comprehensive guidance, ensuring judges stay at the forefront.
