Shoulders feeling stiff, tight, or restricted? Here are 3 movements from physiotherapist Shabil to help improve shoulder mobility and reduce tension. All you need is a towel and a stick!
1️⃣ External Rotation Stretch: Gently rotate outward using the stick for assistance. ➡️ Focus on controlled movement — don’t force the stretch.
2️⃣ Internal Rotation Stretch: Use a towel behind your back to improve shoulder mobility and internal rotation. ➡️ Pull gently and avoid forcing the movement.
3️⃣ Shoulder Flexion & Abduction Mobility: Sit while holding the end of a stick and slowly rock your body forward and back to guide the shoulder through movement.➡️ Keep your arm long and pause where you feel the stretch.
✨ Move slowly, breathe through each stretch, and stay within a comfortable range.
