Wonderful results from conscious.connections.ot!
"The immediate support my patient felt today with the was so dramatic! It was so powerful to be in the presence of someone who has been in pain and to be able to give her the tools she needs to begin to support her hypermobile body. I am very called to this work and am so grateful my community continues to grow. If you know someone who is looking for support, send this video to them!!"

Thanks to Dr. Missy Gallow for sharing how it supports her for long periods of sitting, and how simple it is to slip on and make adjustments!

This testimonial was provided by Kellye Orange, “In April of 2023 I left the doctor appointment in tears. The doctor was an orthopedic surgeon who was supposed to be knowledgeable about Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I saw him about the debilitating tendonitis in my right elbow. It had been locked up for 8 months. My elbow, wrist, and hand were swollen. I couldn’t straighten or bend my elbow. I couldn’t hold a phone to my ear or a cup to my mouth. I couldn’t wash my hair, play my guitar, do my art, kayak, and more. The tissue was deteriorating and no surgery could help. It was my EDS. The doctor just shrugged and said there was nothing he could do, and referred me back to physical therapy, where I had been for 8 months with little progress.
I sat in my car in tears and that was the moment when I decided it was time. Time to get the Body Braid after knowing about it for a few years. What else could I do? I was in a pretty hopeless situation. I had to try it.
The cost was one thing, but worrying about tolerating the fabric was another. I’m allergic to rubber and spandex. I had no other options. I went home, did a little more research, and ordered the Body Braid the next day.
It was a Saturday. We just got home from a local town festival. I had a winging shoulder blade that was hurting so bad. I was exhausted and in pain from head to toe from walking around the festival. My partner went to check the mail and yay!! The Body Braid came.
I had watched several videos while I was waiting on its arrival, so I had the basics down on how to wrap it... I got it all attached, and when I stood up, the pain in my left winging shoulder blade was immediately gone. I was amazed!
Two days later, after wearing it during the day, I went to physical therapy. My right elbow had a little more movement, my slight scoliosis was nearly gone, my torso had been twisted in my pelvis and was self correcting, and as long as I wore it, my winging shoulder blade did not hurt. The way the arm braid and finger straps held my painful elbow and hand was heaven on Earth. Plus, I can tolerate the material.
That’s when it all began." We will tell the rest of her story in our next post.
