Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and leading a team of Engineers / Technologists / Technicians, evaluate engineering and manufacturing tolerances for design standardization and manufacturability, lead the transition of new products from engineering development, identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and takes immediate corrective action as required, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time/permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years related engineering management experience, preferably in the metal industry
• Background in HVAC fundamentals and knowledge of HVAC systems for Residential and Commercial buildings
• Experience in lean manufacturing—Six Sigma or other related certifications or coursework a plus.
• Able to travel when necessary
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Salary: $90,000 - 110,000 per year

Our client, a manufacturer in the electronics industry, is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team in Markham, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible to supervise electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors and tester, Establish work schedules Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule, resolve work problems, recommend measures to improve productivity, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time/permanent position reporting on a straight Day shift.

Qualifications:
• Post-Secondary Education or technical training an asset
• 5+ year supervisory experience preferably within the electronics industry
• Extensive experience within a PCB / SMT manufacturing environment
• Able to report to a day shift
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support to the Health & Safety Manager, Coordinators, and Supervisors, organize safety materials for distribution, among other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary Education in Health & Safety or a related field
• 2 Years related health & safety administration experience in a manufacturing setting
• Previous experience in purchasing in a food manufacturing environment
• Familiar with policies, standards, procedures in relation to manufacturing employment
• Computer knowledge and experience with all Microsoft Office, Sage Software
