Trigger Sports Therapy

👋 What's going on everybody!
I wanted to introduce my new private studio and setup in the Yorkmills/Lesile area and a little reintroduction about myself.
My name is Manny Lamila-Sammut, founder of Trigger Sports Therapy, and I’m excited to introduce myself to the community.
I’m a Master-level ISSA Certified Strength Coach, Barefoot and Glute Specialist, Bodybuilding Specialist and Nutritionist, and Fascial Therapist. My work focuses on bridging the gap between therapy and training—helping people recover from pain, move better, and build strong, resilient bodies for the long term.
What I offer: • Sports therapy & fascial-based treatments
• Injury rehabilitation & chronic pain management
• Corrective exercise & movement restoration
• Strength & conditioning coaching
• Personalized, education-driven programs
I believe in practicing what I teach. I train 4x per week, do cardio 2x per week, and have been a gluten-free vegan for 4 years—because health is built through consistency, not shortcuts.
Outside of work, I’m a nerd at heart 🤓 Always in a Roots Track🦫 and snacking.
A lifelong Star Wars and anime fan. A gamer for RPG's, shooters and Racers. Also still a huge Pokémon fan, gamer and TCG (Gengar all the way 👻). I’ve got over 30 indoor plants at home 🪴, and LEGO is one of my favorite ways to unplug and reset.
Also huge fan of Japan and the culture of Samurai. 🇯🇵🎍
Life has also entered a new chapter recently—I’m now a part-time Step-Dad, learning balance, patience, and adaptability in real time. That perspective carries directly into how I coach and treat others.
If you’re in the York Mills East/ Banbury / Don Mills Local Area or Toronto/GTA and looking for professional, personalized care that treats the root cause—not just the symptoms—I’d love to connect.

What's going on, social fam? I get these questions a lot.
What is Fascia? What is FST, and what are the benefits?
What is Fascia:
Fascia is a web-like network of connective tissue that surrounds and interpenetrates all parts of the body, including muscles, bones, organs (including your skin), nerves, and blood vessels. It provides structure, support, and enables all body systems to function together. Fascia is a key component of the body's functional structure and plays a role in movement, posture, and proprioception (sensory awareness of your body/tissue).
What is FST:
Fascial Stretch Therapy primarily targets the fascia. The connective tissue network that surrounds muscles, organs, and other structures in the body listed above.
The Technique:
It involves a series of guided assisted stretches. Practioneers work with their clients' breath and tissue to help them release tension, adhensions, and restrictions to aid and restore flexibility in the fascia.
The Goal:
Is to improve flexibility, range of motion, and joint mobilty with the fascia. The purpose is to reduce muscle tension by addressing sticky areas, stuck tissue, or "glued tissue" in the fascial network.
The Benefits:
Can help with chronic pain, stiffness, muscular soreness, joint mobility (level 2 and up), stress, emotional blockades, and help improve overall body function by addressing the underlying fascial issues.

Hi everyone. Wanted to share my feedback and knowledge on the new Naboso Kinese Board. 🙌😄
This is a great new tool in your toolbox, it is a micro wobble system.
It comes with 2 cushions pads underneath that can be moved around or advanced movements and challenge to even a single cushion.
The benefits with creating a single isolated unstable surface is amazing.
This allows us to focus and work on mobility and stability through either our wrist or our ankles.
As a therapist and coach I have found that due to the over-usage of phones, keyboards, gaming, etc.
Wrists take a brutal impact. So with utilizing the New Kinese Board. Were able to strength those opportunites and reduce to amount of daily function stressors on our wrist joint.
This also applies to our ankle's which is seen in the 2nd and 3rd video.
Our ankles and feet get compressed all day from daily function; from our shoes squeezing/crushing our toes, to walking on hard surfaces all day. Then not to mention high impact from sports and/or training.
So to work on our mobility and stability in our ankle, using the kinese board; the micro wobble system. This will challenge, strengthen and protect our ankles overall.
So this new tool is definitely coach approved. 😁👍
If you want your own tools from seen in the video; (Naboso Mat, splays, new kinese board or the new toe socks!)
