You probably saw this or similar jokes on FB numerous times. Here are few examples you can use to explain your kids where you use it everyday:
- shopping: whether you are buying sweets or clothes or something bigger like a mobile handset, you use maths. You need to know the price, calculate change if any or even compare prices.
- planning a party: what it will cost, how many guests are attending, what foods are you serving and so many other essentials all requiring multiplication, division and subtraction.
