“eye see you” has been an iconic symbol in my art for nearly a decade 👁️

Initially created as a symbol of the active female gaze (as opposed to a passive one) and painted in the streets of Montreal, it has evolved to represent the interconnectedness of all things.

The eye signifies insight, connection, and the importance of truly seeing one another. The evolved mantra, “eye see you, eye love you, eye am you,” captures this essence of love and acceptance.

This collection includes 3 embroidered items: the ‘Eye See You’ Baseball Hat, oversized tie dye shirt, and denim bucket hat.

Revisiting this design in the form of wearable art has been a journey of reflection and recommitment to my creative roots. It’s a reminder of the importance of continually finding new ways to express ourselves, while also honouring the past and what made you who you are today.

“eye see you” has traveled with me through my street art, becoming a tagline I’ve shared around the world. Its presence in various cities serves as an image of empathy and understanding, reminding us to see and accept each other as we are.

Wearing this design isn’t just about fashion, it’s about participating in a larger story of unity and understanding 👁️
