Growing older should never mean growing invisible—or feeling forced to hide who you are.

Yet many seniors aging with HIV/AIDS continue to face stigma, isolation, and loneliness decades after their diagnosis. Many have lost loved ones, endured prejudice and rejection, and now face the challenges of aging without the support systems many of us take for granted. Many also fear that they may be judged, treated differently, or forced to conceal their HIV status to feel safe and accepted if they have to move into long-term care or supportive housing.

No one should have to go back into the closet about their HIV status to receive care, dignity, and respect.

This summer, you can help change that. Become a Community Champion and join The Kindness Challenge. Commit to completing 100 acts of kindness and fundraising for Fife House's supportive housing programs and wraparound services that support seniors and others living with HIV/AIDS, and enable them to live their authentic selves in affirming, supportive environments.
