Oh, the sound of the wind, the birds, and the road beneath my feet as I walk beside our dog 🐾

The past few weeks, we haven’t had our regular long walks, but today we got to explore our new neighbourhood. And once again, I was reminded of how much nature can offer us.

The magic of awe ✨

Noticing the sparks in ordinary things can shift the heart and nervous system in an instant. Sometimes the change is subtle, and sometimes it arrives all at once.

There is a lot of conversation in the somatic world about how the body isn’t everything—that there isn’t enough talk about the soul.

To me, they cannot truly be separated.

One is constantly influencing the other.

Yet we all need an entry point.

Many people feel disconnected from themselves, searching for meaning and belonging in the midst of chaos. Before we can turn on all the lights, there often needs to be a container that feels safe enough to hold what we find.

The body is an incredible space holder.

It offers our soul a beautiful vehicle through which we can become curious, present, and alive.

Instead of debating what needs to be addressed first—the body or the soul or is the nature - what if we simply attuned to the person in front of us?

What if we asked:

🌾What is their way in?

🌾 What helps them feel more alive?

🌾 More present?

🌾 More connected to themselves and to the awe of life?

That’s human-to-human attunement, which goes beyond theories and methods. That’s where the spark can be witnessed. Thats’s where something begins to come alive.

Doing is not the same as experiencing.

And this is where so many of us get stuck—
especially with self-care.

We create the list.
We follow through.
We do all the “right” things.

And still we are starving for connection.

Because the body doesn’t restore through doing.
It restores through feeling.

When everything is fast, automatic, and task-driven, the system doesn’t have space to register what’s actually happening.

So even the things meant to support you…
don’t fully land.

This is where experiencing shifts everything.

Not more effort.
Not more discipline.

Just a moment of pause inside what you’re already doing. This is where we begin to receive and that’s when self-care becomes nourishing 🌿

What if progress isn’t something you measure but something you feel?

In this work, change doesn’t always show up in obvious ways.
🔺Not in numbers.
🔺Not in milestones.
🔺Not in before and after.

It shows up in capacity 🌱

The space between a trigger and a response begins to widen - slowly.

So slowly you might miss it. Until one day, something feels different.

You notice:
✨ The day isn’t as heavy.
✨ You stay a little longer in a conversation.
✨ You don’t leave as quickly.
✨ You feel more present in your body - even during s€x.

These are small shifts but they carry something deep.

Because the body is learning:
I can stay 🤍
