Knabstrupper Performance Horses

On the weekend I had a visit from Marlene McGrath, who purchased a youngster from me in 2022. So often, babies are purchased off of videos, meaning I never get to meet their new families. I have been so lucky to connect with buyers over the years and I am always thrilled to have visits and show off the horses. While I haven’t been able to see her boy, Everlasting TE in the flesh since he was a babe, I love following along on his journey.

We have a very exciting contest to announce! We are giving away a FREE breeding to Knabstrupper stallion “Riverside Harlequin”.

Quinnys details: preliminary licensed with KNN, by Nobody’s Harlequin out of Glamorous TE (Lindegaards Elliot) meaning this stallion boasts the best traits of both classic and sport types. Standing 15.3 currently, he possesses three big but exceedingly comfortable gaits, excellent activity behind and a wonderful temperament. Quinny is red based carrying 1 LP gene and many interesting W genes that have clearly boosted his expression significantly. We are very eager to see how that expresses on his foals.

The contest details: The winner must be willing to breed a mare *this* year. We reserve the right to select the best match(es) for Quinny. All collection and shipping fees are the responsibility of the winner but there will be NO stud fee or booking fees to be paid.

4yo stallion Riverside Harlequin (Nobody’s Harlequin x Lindegaards Elliot) bred by Laura Speer and owned by Melyni Worth. He’s getting ready for his first recognized show as well as an exciting breeding contest. Stay tuned!

“CCS Sanya” is a 15.3 7yo Knabstrupper mare, ready for her person!

This girl has lots of excellent dressage miles, having competed extensively at training and some 1st with an AA, including qualifying for and attending regionals. She is now solid at 2nd level and scored 70% her first time competing. She is schooling all the pieces of 3rd including green but clean changes first try. She is gaining some exciting expression to her very comfortable gaits as she develops strength, with ample potential to continue to move up the levels.

CCS Sanya is also started over fences, and has hacked extensively and even gone field hunting. She could be a jumper or eventer with more mileage. This versatile girl is safe and sensible, with good sensitivity and her own engine without being hot or silly. She would be well suited to an ambitious AA or Junior!
