SPONSORSHIP & AFFILIATE MARKETING ASSISTANT
The Sponsorship & Affiliate Marketing Assistant will work directly with the Producer to create sponsorship materials and an affiliate marketing plan for a new website platform for artists as well as creating sponsorship materials for a documentary.
Sponsorship & Affiliate Marketing Assistant :
Tasks would include:
Identify external stakeholders and new sponsorship opportunities
Research and identify a strategy for sponsorship materials for a new website created to support artists and creative professionals as well as a documentary film
Coordinate with graphic designer to create key sponsorship sales collateral including slide decks
Research and create an affiliate marketing plan for the new website
Work with the graphic designer to create sponsorship materials
Outreach to facilitate new sponsorship opportunities and relationships
CONTRACT DATES:
9 Week Contract (November 3 - December 17th, January 5 - 21)
$15/hour, 30 hours/week
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
As this position was made possible by the Canada Summer Jobs program, all applicants must be between ages 15-30 (inclusive).
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work remotely as required
Skills and Qualifications
Experience with sponsorship, fundraising, sales, or marketing for arts & culture organizations
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Strong attention to detail
A passion for research
Adept at managing tasks and balancing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, public relations, or a related field preferred but not required (commensurate professional experience will also be considered)
Certificate in business affairs, communications, or similar qualification is an asset
Competence in G Suite and donor management systems
Experience writing grants, press releases, and/or fundraising letters a plus

The Social Media & Content Coordinator will work directly with the Producer to help curate and present informative, and compelling social media and website content.
Social Media & Content Coordinator:
Tasks would include:
Creating and sourcing social media content for social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok as well as a new website
Compiling analytic reports for social media platform and website traffic
Working with motion and graphic designer to design posts for social media and website platforms
Writing copy for social and website posts
Pitching and writing articles for website blog
Additional tasks as assigned
Skills:
Familiarity with the backend of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok
Familiarity with pulling and compiling analytic reports
Experience with writing and designing social media content for brands
Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Premiere Pro (an asset but not essential)

VIDEO EDITOR

VIDEO EDITOR
The Video Editor will work directly with the Producer to help edit a documentary short.
Work with the Producer to establish project deadlines and workflow
Log and organize all current active raw footage for the project, synching sound as necessary
Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of a documentary short to present to Producer and receive approval before beginning to digitally alter video
Use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit raw footage
Improve video and sound quality using Adobe Premiere Pro
Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to required specifications
Use Adobe After Effects to create motion graphics
Create a video trailer to promote the project
CONTRACT DATES:
9 Week Contract (October 15 - December 17th)
$15/hour, 30 hours/week
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in film editing or related degree is preferred but not required (commensurate professional experience will also be considered)
Experience with video and audio editing software and programs, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro/Adobe Creative Suite
Competence in G Suite
Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on the projects simultaneously
Creative experience in filmmaking and videography
Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation
Interest in Eastern European history or interest in Opera an asset

Craft sponsorship package materials for the website as well as documentary film
Complete grant applications and fundraising proposals
Identify external stakeholders and new fundraising opportunities
