Grateful for my amazing team and subcontractors who helped complete this project on the west side of Toronto—I truly appreciate everyone’s hard work. This was a full kitchen transformation for a client who originally had a very small kitchen, with a bathroom behind it taking up valuable space, so from a design and planning perspective we decided to remove that bathroom and reconfigure the layout to maximize functionality. By eliminating the bathroom and reclaiming an underused hallway—closing the hallway door, converting it into a window, and utilizing that space—we were able to significantly extend the kitchen. To maintain balance on the main floor, we replaced a large shower bathroom with a compact powder room, preserving the home’s overall integrity while improving flow and usability. The project included full demolition, removal of an existing load-bearing exterior wall, new structural solutions, complete electrical and plumbing upgrades, full kitchen installation, and total project management from start to finish, resulting in a great final outcome and a very happy client. 😎
