Crews with the East Harbour Transit Hub have completed work on the first half of the Eastern Avenue Bridge. Now, they're busy upgrading the second half. Once finished, the bridge will have six tracks — four for GO trains and two for the Ontario Line.

Les équipes du Centre de transport en commun d’East Harbour ont terminé les travaux sur la première moitié du pont de l’avenue Eastern. Maintenant, ils sont occupés à améliorer la deuxième moitié. Une fois terminé, le pont aura six voies : quatre pour les trains GO et deux pour la ligne Ontario.

A brand new boardwalk is being built and will replace the current path, protecting wetland and supporting a healthier environment for plants and wildlife. And hundreds of native plants, shrubs and trees have also been introduced to this natural space.
Additionally, corridor widening is complete! This allows a future fourth track to be installed, paving the way for faster and more frequent GO train service across the GTA.

Une nouvelle promenade est en cours de construction et remplacera la voie actuelle, protégeant les milieux humides et favorisant un environnement plus sain pour les plantes et la faune. Et des centaines de plantes, arbustes et arbres indigènes ont été introduits dans cet espace naturel.
De plus, l’élargissement du couloir est terminé! Cela permettra l’installation d’une quatrième voie, ouvrant la voie à un service ferroviaire GO plus rapide et plus fréquent à travers la RGT.
