We picked up this coffee table from a client in Leslieville last week. On paper? Stunning Nero Marquina — crisp white veining cutting through a deep charcoal field. In person? Clouded. Dull. Water rings that had settled in so long they felt permanent. The kind of surface you stop noticing because looking at it too closely just reminds you it’s not what it used to be.
This is the same table, this morning, after one pass with the right diamond-grit sequence and a dry polish finish.
