22 mezuzahs. 22 classrooms. Countless moments of Jewish pride to come 💙

Recently, we had the privilege of creating 22 custom mezuzahs for JCP, a vibrant and inclusive Jewish community in Lower Manhattan dedicated to building a proudly Jewish community rooted in learning, spirituality, and celebration.

As part of their 3rd grade curriculum on Jewish ritual items and the Shema prayer, students explored the traditions surrounding the mezuzah, learned about the handwritten klaf inside, and discovered how a sofer carefully writes each scroll using special tools.

To conclude the unit, each class hung a specially curated POPPSI mezuzah in their classrooms.

There’s something beautiful about knowing these mezuzahs will become part of the rhythm of daily life, greeting students each morning and quietly reminding them that Jewish traditions are meant to be lived, shared, and passed on with pride.
