4x5 Film Scanned; Cut, Reassembled, Painted with Oil Pastels.

Thats a wrap on a second exhibition of our groups work from the Philippines. The first was held in Manila at the end of our time there in May and the second at the Ada Slaight Gallery here in Toronto.

Thanks to our amazing teacher and the organizers from OCAD’s office for the most amazing opportunity. To their collaborators at La Salle’s , thank you for your hospitality and opening your doors to us.

Can We Go Back to the Start? — 18 x 36 Inch, Mixed Media on Panel — 2023

It’s been a good first year at University which means I got lost in one project after another. I’ve neglected to share any of them, so now that I have more time on my hands, I can hopefully catch up on sharing the pieces that are shaping my practice.

This piece was created in .ca painting class for our final shapeshifter assignment. He’s been a great role model with an inspiring passion for the painting practice. He encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone, into the abstract, with this work and I’m really grateful he did. Thanks Rob!
