Vancouver’s Council is the first to state that by 2030, they will ensure 40% less embodied emissions from new buildings and construction projects compared to 2018. As the climate crisis heats up and carbon prices continue to rise, attention turns again to hospitals and their central plants which represent one of society’s largest carbon emitters. Join us on June 1 for two panel discussions, with the first addressing the things you can do now to substantially improve the efficiency and extend the life of your existing plant, and the second laying out the planning that all hospitals must be doing now to prepare for the low carbon transition over time.
