ChainLink Disc Golf

The Eco Family Fest was a huge success. So many people came out and everyone had a great time. The disc golf was a highlight with two hole-in-ones including one from a brand new player.

We were so proud of her that we took a photo with her and her mom along with Cara Hovius from . Days like this show how much joy disc golf can bring to families and the community.

We’re headed to Windsor Essex Disc Golf to support the beautiful Lakewood Disc Golf Course with basket upgrades! We’re looking forward to playing on brand new red Discraft Disc Golf baskets by the end of next week!

Exciting News. The Lakewood Disc Golf course is getting a Basket upgrade!
The existing Mach III baskets have served us well but have become outdated and notorious for Chain outs.
The upgrade will be to Discraft Chainstar PRO. The same baskets being used at the Disc Golf Worlds in Michigan in August.

The Lakewood Disc golf course is a GREAT course. Recently named one of the top 100 in Canada. A great course deserves great baskets. The new baskets in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of the course, will be installed the week of June 1.
This will be just in time for the Grand Opening of the new Event plaza at Lakewood on June 7, and the National Amateur Disc Golf Tournament on Saturday August 1.

A HUGE thanks to the Town of Tecumseh for their support of Disc Golf.

Chainlink Disc Golf will be working on the upgrade next week. The course will not be closed. But if you are out playing during the day and come across a hole with work being done please skip that hole.
The basket upgrade should be complete by end of day Thursday June 4th.

Welcome to Disc Golf!
The ChainLink Conservation Series is coming to the ECO Family Fest.

We’re setting up a three‑hole disc golf course designed specifically for families, kids and new players. Discs will be available to borrow for free, and you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Owners of , Jeff and Cara, will be on-site all day to provide free lessons.

ChainLink Conservation Series discs will also be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds support local conservation initiatives through the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA).

Disc golf is coming to Downsview Park for the first time ever. Special Olympics Toronto is hosting a Try It Day and will be including disc golf at the park.
