Genève’s family moved to Oakville in 1988, where she spent her childhood and formative years playing in Oakville’s many ravine creeks, attending local schools and taking part in community events. Genève went on to earn an Honours Degree in Sociology from McMaster University and a post graduate certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University, specializing in mediation and negotiation techniques. Having spent the majority of her professional career in hospitality and customer service industries across the GTA, Genève honed her creative mind for design and made an entrepreneurial leap. Along with her parents, the Roots family built a successful property design and renovation business, which in turn sparked a passion for real estate inside Genève.

After earning her real estate licence, Genève was able to translate her skills and experience into helping buyers see the potential in a property and advising sellers on what renovations and updates to do before listing their property in order to achieve maximum profits.

In her years since becoming a professional Realtor, Genève has been able to utilize her professional expertise and experience in customer service to build strong relationships with her clients. While her people-focused approach, expert negotiating skills, caring nature, and unique combination of talents and experience have given her the tools to excel as a professional realtor, what truly sets Geneve apart in this industry is her whole hearted commitment to finding creative solutions to all the complexities faced by her team, her clients, and her industry as a whole.

When she’s not hard at work you can find Genève traveling, exploring the outdoors, or relaxing on a local patio with friends. Genève is a devoted “Auntie” to her two nieces, two nephews, and niece puppy, Polly, and looks forward to spending quality time with them on the dock at her family cottage in Dorset each summer.
