My 6 Tomato Plants in 2 my Planters seem to have a mind of their own. The big one on the left is over 7ft+. I kind of wish I knew a little more about tomato plant pruning. I keep pinching the Volunteers off though, a daily activity. I guess, I will know more next year!?
Starting to get a few red cherry tomatoes daily and we have had a couple of Beefsteaks turn red enough to pick so far. Way past our expectations....

The 132nd Scout Group and the Kiwanis Club of East York would like to invite you to our Tree Planting (and Stewardship) event: Sat May 25th Taylor Creek Park at 10am

This is our 25th year of running Tree Planting and urban forest Stewardship events in the Taylor Creek Park area. - (yes we started in 1999)
We finally got approval to go ahead with our 25th year of Tree Planting.from the City and the Funds from the TD FEF will be in our bank shortly.
- The city has been a real stickler this year, I have heard that many other groups, just "Thrown in the Towel", because it was too difficult to work with the City Forestry and Parks Departments, who seemingly do not want to encourage volunteer groups any more??
BUT regardless we did and it's been 25 Years. - (yes we started in 1999)

The Spring event is May 25th and the Fall Event will be about the first week in November.
Please join us for this Event.
The event is open to anyone who would like to participate.
We are looking to confirm attendance as soon as possible, so that we manage the planting and the Pizza for lunch. Although, unannounced participants are always welcome.
