30 minutes. No concealer. One classic foundation.

I had to get camera-ready fast, so I went full coverage with BareMinerals Original, flushed my cheeks and lips with Lisa Eldridge Rose Official, added tightliner and blush as shadow - and hoped for the best.

It worked. The glow held up all day… until I laughed so hard I cried and my eyeliner smudged off in surrender. 😂

No regrets. Just a little reminder that some beauty staples are classics for a reason.

My .beauty Red Camellia Skin Enhancer in Soft Pink arrived today! If you have seen my videos, you might know the N°1 De Chanel Revitalizing in was my foundation for 2022, so as soon as I got wind of the I had to try it!

I wanted to compare the Soft Pink shade against my beloved Chanel Rosy Lighting Drops, as that has been my go-to “soft pink” liquid highlighter for a while now, and wow, they are quite different in colour and texture! Le Blanc Rosy Light Drops is much thinner, and the colour is a light milky pink with a silver pearl, whereas the N°1 De Chanel Skin Enhancer in Soft Pink is a neutral-warm salmon pink colour that blends out to be pretty translucent, but it leaves this gorgeous silk-like texture.

The earliest additions to my collection were the Crushed Lip Colors in Blue Raspberry (soft summer/winter deep) and Blondie Pink (soft summer/soft autumn), which were closely followed by the Luxe Matte Lip Colors in Boss Pink (true summer/true winter) and N**e Reality (light summer/light spring). Then in late 2022, the updated Luxe Lipstick formula was released, and I was quick to purchase Pale Mauve (light summer/light spring, but I found myself craving something pinker, so I recently purchased Pink Cloud (light summer/true summer/soft summer), and it’s perfect!!!!!
