🧱Things to do before Mastering

📌 Make sure your audio track is not clipping! If you find a clip in audio track is always better to record it again, but if you cant try to lower the frequencies that are responsible for it.

📌 Take a break! Sleep on it. Listen to it when your ears are fresh to ensure you’re getting the quality of a sound.

📌 USE References. Don’t over complicate the mix, if it’s sound close to your reference track is good enough.

How to create space? 🔲

Use panning. It’s a good trick to add the volume to support your main vocal and develop unique sound

Make your doubles quiet. Your back vocals should not distract a listener from your main vocal. Just make it quite.

Use EQ to ensure you lower unpleasant frequencies in order to boost the main track.

Mix upfront sounds with sounds in the back to achieve the depth.

Don’t be afraid to use a little more Reverb than usual. You always can compress it afterwards but the reverb is no doubt one of the best and easiest plugins to use to create the space in your final mix.
