June is Pride Month, a time to recognize, uplift and celebrate the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community.

On June 1, we raised the Pride and Two-Spirit flags at Niagara Region Headquarters with local organizations and community members. The ceremony recognized the importance of creating welcoming and inclusive spaces for everyone.

Niagara is home to a strong and vibrant 2SLGBTQQIA+ community, supported by organizations including Pride Niagara, OUTniagara, Pflag Niagara, Senior Pride Network of Niagara and Positive Living Niagara. Check out events and celebrations taking place throughout the summer.

This year, all seven Niagara Region long-term care homes will feature special programming presented by Pride Niagara.
