NARRITIVES THAT SERVE ⭐️

Narratives are what we think and say about ourselves.

These are the “I am’s” and the “I do not’s” that guide our decisions.

I continuously struggle with multiple narratives that I have come to belief and enact on a daily basis that no longer serve me well.

The main narrative I am battling to overcome right now is “I am not good enough.”

Despite numerous events that prove otherwise, I still fall into the trap, the limiting belief, that I do not have what it takes.

Some growth I have had here is as simple as adding “yet”

Yet means a work in progress. Yet means possibilities. Yet means what is NOW, will not always be.

Know Thyself and Stack Small Wins 🧐

One of the keys to building MOMENTUM and staying on track with any goal is to work towards it and do the hard things even when you don’t want to, so that when I time comes that you can’t - like when you get sick, or life just gets too busy, etc. - you can AFFORD to pause for a brief period and feel okay with that.

Moreover, you feel a sense of accomplishment for staying disciplined and pushing through the lack of motivation, all because you’ve done so much good work up to that point in time.

From sport practice regimes and health routines, to general priorities, put in the time and effort to stack small wins and enjoy the compounding benefits of getting 1% better each day 📈

What is your WHY ⁉️

While it can be motivating to set and work towards aesthetic goals, they can take a LONG time to achieve.

At we focus simultaneously on achieving goals and on developing process-oriented approaches to health like building and maintaining routines, enjoying the sense of accomplishment that comes with consistency and hard work, and embracing the slow and steady grind towards our ultimate goals 💫

Improve your HEALTH and IMMUNITY ❤️

Just like you can do things to “win” individual immunity. Healthful practices can boost metabolic health and therefore the body’s ability to FUNCTION and RECOVER.

Food for thought: With the renewal of Provincial restrictions, thousands of British Columbians are out of work and opportunity for fitness. Why is there a lack of funding and support for healthful practices from government initiatives? 💰
