Every year when this day comes around I take a moment to reflect on the past year we’ve had together and see if I can figure out your birthday wish… and I think I’ve nailed it down!

I believe you wished to live life to the fullest, to be a man your family would be proud of, to stay connected to the ones you love and make sure they feel that love, and to make the world a better place by leading by example, inspiring others to stay healthy, take care of their bodies, and have no regrets.

At least this is the way I saw you living your life this past year, and it makes me so damn grateful, honoured and proud to be your wife and partner in this life.

There is nothing like the feeling of listening to your souls callings.

I first felt the call to back in 2007 when I first learned about it when it was listed as one of the . This place and the pyramids of Egypt were the only 2 that stood out to me, and I declared back then I wanted to go.

Fast forward to 2016 I devoured the book 'The Celestine Prophecy' by James Redfield (great book, check it out) set in the Peruvian mountains with a climactic scene happening at MP. This was right before starting my SLRC certification (training steeped in Ta***ic traditions) which I believe ignited my desire to see, feel, and work with energy and understand the deeper mysteries of the world. I once again declared I wanted to visit this place.

Zip ahead to April 2024, when Sheldon and I spent a week in Lima Peru, sooo close the enfamed historic mountains, and I felt the tug again. A whisper from the earth, a song in the air, a fire in my belly, and a gush of excitement. The elements were calling and had learned to listen. I decided that week, next year I would be walking the and started planning.

I was in need of the medicine this hike would offer. I had injured my tailbone, pinched a nerve in my back, and my trust in my body had declined. The mountain was calling me to remember, to break through the limitations and barriers I had erected around what my animal body knew it could do. So, I started training, pushing & striving to conquer this literal & figurative mountain.

And on this hike, in the moments I was gasping for air, thinking I wouldn't be able to do it - the stories & energy of the people long since past & who had created and used this trail - whispered to me that I could. It showed me the power of putting your mind to something, the manifestation of creativity, and the human birthright to reinvent yourself. So I kept putting one foot in front of the other, climbed that sacred path, and remembered my body is powerful, capable, and to something be trusted.

I believe this journey was laid out for me years ago to help me overcome the coming struggles, and to come back home to pray in the temple of my body.

You will end your time with me doing a moving meditation, designed to connect you further with the church of your body, your cauldron of power, your tuning fork to the divine, AKA your blessed beautiful womb, core + pelvic floor.
