The Youth and Family Wellness Educator in Training assists in providing group counselling and support services to clients with addictions and family violence issues, including youth; coordinates weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, Al-Anon meetings, Coalition for Teens, as well as other initiatives as they arise; provides programs to educate and promote addictions awareness and addiction-free lifestyles; assists in the referral of clients to treatment centres and especially provide them with aftercare upon the completion of their treatment and maintain a link with the treatment centres concerning client care and progress.
