Summer Camp Guest Artists! 🏙

Over the next few weeks, we wanted to introduce you to each of the special guest artists that will be teaching their unique artistic style at each camp. A new artist for every week!

Week 3, Summer Creativity Camp: Sounds of the City—join Hailey Smith as you learn about sonic art, think about how music inspires artists and reflect on what sound means to our lives using a variety of mediums!

Hailey Smith is a pyrography and watercolor artist located within the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nations, or Prince George, BC. Hailey is a self taught artist with a Bachelors of Arts and a Bachelor of Education from UNBC in 2017. This shift into an artistic endeavor started in 2021, and is ultimately a result of the incredible support from the Prince George community who have provided Hailey with opportunities such as creating the logo design for the Coldsnap Music Festival of 2025. Every artistic piece she creates is handcrafted, unique, and designed to highlight the spirit of Canada’s flora and fauna with all their beauty and intricacies.
