Over the past weekend we were inspired by a presentation given by one of our plant enthused board members. An almost full house of attendees were taken back in time through the evolution of native plants, the roles they play in our ecosystems and some of the threats they are facing today.
Highlighting Northern BC and its wonderous native plants, we were also reminded of the role we have in protecting them.
Flip through until the end to see some tips on how to protect biodiversity right here in Prince George!
Thank you to our host, The Prince George Public Library, our speaker, and to all those who attended🌱

Reminder: happening tomorrow morning.
It's that time of year again, join us for a Spring Nature Walk at Cottonwood Island Park. We are naturalists, and we always find things to look at, so don't expect a fast walk! We will have people there who can identify birds, bees, trees, butterflies, wildlife, and many other things we might see. May 2, 2026, at 8:30 AM. We are meeting at the southern parking lot, NOT the main parking lot. Hope to see you there!
