Well, a big ol life update for those who may have noticed I’ve been MIA since December👀

I know I haven’t been on here in quite some time, but life gets busy and priorities start to shift. As many of you know I’m currently in college (which I am now almost finished, yay!) and with that comes saying goodbye to almost all of my free time, like booking sessions and creating magic.

I love photography and capturing moments for people to cherish for a lifetime, I love creating an environment where people feel comfortable to be themselves without the pressure of having to worry so much about the sometimes awkwardness of poses. Seeing the joy in people’s faces when they receive their albums and having many returning clients, it’s truly such a gift to have built this rapport with people and their significant others & families!

As always, it’s also a learning curve, trying new things, finding new spots, creating new ideas and putting what’s in my head to the ultimate test in reality.

I’ve taken a huge step back from this line of work, not necessarily because I wanted to… but because I felt like I personally needed to. I am not a professional by any means, just a girl with a camera and a vision to make come to life. I love being able to create something beautiful and unique, however I just feel like I’ve been in a creative slump and I’m hoping that with more sunny days that allows me to focus more on what style I want to achieve and create and how I want to execute it. 🌸

I’m truly sorry for those who wanted sessions recently and I had to respectfully decline as I’m not one to take on something that I feel like wouldn’t be the best of my ability to take on, or execute in a way where it would reflect my best work due to all of the deadlines with school and life in general taking me for a rollercoaster ride and leaving me in a headspace where I wouldn’t do my best for people who truly deserve the best✨

With that all being said, I will be still taking a bit of a break until I am graduated at the end of July, as right now I am so close to the end of my program & with my unknown practicum schedule I want to ensure I have as much known free time as possible.

I will also be taking time to relearn my camera skills, settings and maybe even an upgrade (🤞🏻)

Thank you all for being patient with me during this time of figuring it all out and rebuilding my spark and passion for this hobby of mine✨

Some of you also have credits with me which I am hoping to book for late summer/fall and will be reaching out (if I don’t reach out please send the page a message and we can work out details for a later date)

Thank you all for all the support, encouragement and understanding during this self discovery journey of mine and I am so excited to get back to it when I feel like I’m ready 🎉

I will also be planning some free portfolio building sessions at some point before I jump back in later this summer so stay tuned for that and other fun announcements I’ll be dropping when I’m back consistently✨
