I’m sorry but… “Viral” isn’t a business model, it’s a moment.

I see too often, a small town business focussing on a viral trend but posting inconsistently and without posting anything actually of value to their customers or to their business.

If you don’t have the foundation that comes with consistency and strategy already in place, your viral moment can come and go without any lasting positive effect on your business.

Build the foundation first! Then if you have any extra time and energy, it doesn’t hurt to do something trendy or to jump on a viral trend for fun or as a gamble.
