I hope this tree trunk did not spook you as much as it did as I was trying to compose it at dusk, with no one around in the park!

Happy Halloween 2024 !

Ontario's Green Belt is home to a great deal of agriculture and farming. I am so fortunate to live just on its edge. A few minutes drive and I'm in the midst of it.

Many pieces of land were part of a great scandal involving the Ontario Government, which was aiming to remove protected status to expand residential property development.

As I learn more about my surroundings, I will share more with you. For now, I hope this photograph leaves a small impression upon you.

One of those photographs that had to be made as I was finding my way to exit the park last weekend.

I'm fascinated by roots. While we try so hard to grow out of our origins, roots still have a profound influence on who we are.
