We represent over 7,000 RMTs in Ontario, and we ask that all parties in the upcoming federal election support HST exemption for Registered Massage Therapists. Massage therapists are an important part of a patient’s health care team, working closely with other health care professionals to meet the needs of patients in Canada. HST exemption will ensure that RMTs are respected and equal within those teams, which can improve patient outcomes.
